Established in 1977 our engineers have been responsible for the development of four generations of Novax Electronic Taximeters, from the NOVAX 80 in 1979, to the NOVAX 20~20. and the NOVAX LEDA The NOVAX 80 was the first microprocessor-based taximeter achieving over 90% export though the early nineteen eighties. The NOVAX 20~20, encompasses the functionality of an Electronic Payment System and a Mobile Data Terminal into this new generation of taximeter. Innovation, cost-efficiency and quality have provided the key to success for almost Thirty-five years. In 1995 Keith Scott the founder of the company was joined by his son Adam and together have taken Novax to where it is today. Novax Electronics Ltd. is a private company, dedicated to quality electronic engineering, from offices in the scenic Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
